our projects

CERIPH aims to support effective health promotion programs and to influence healthy public policy in our region. We foster strong links with individuals and communities to engage in collaborative, demand-driven research. We also support others with to evaluate their programs. Importantly, we are known for our ability to genuinely engage with hard-to-reach or marginalised populations.

Our staff facilitate the exchange of health promotion knowledge and research practices through active dissemination strategies as well as through national and international networking. We also put a strong emphasis on sustainability and building workforce capacity.

Throughout our extensive history CERIPH has targeted numerous areas of public health. These include sexual health, mental health, physical activity, use of alcohol or other drugs, road safety, tobacco control, housing and injury prevention.

We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of our community and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which our workplace is located, the Wadjuk people of the Nyungar Nation.
